Position Summary

As a Process Engineer you will be part of a global, diverse and collaborative team and contributing on high sophisticated compute and sensing products driving to a safer, greener and more connected future of mobility. In this role you will be responsible of validating the plant's needs in terms of equipment, supporting engineering changes and new projects and ensuring the acquisition, installation and validation of equipment according to the start-up schedule. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and you will have the autonomy to explore your curiosity, having fun and celebrating success along the way.

Your Rôle

• Ensure the right connection between engineering changes and continuous improvement.
• Lead the team in the installation, validation and continuous improvement actions on the components (Quality, volume, price) of the processes (USW, UCAB, Sealing, Soldering, PUR, Splice Taping).
• Facilitate the preparation of all documentation concerning newly integrated machines.
• Contribute to the choice of suppliers for the purchase of equipment for the means of production.
• Regularly attend technical conferences with plant departments (quality, reliability, maintenance, production, logistics) and MEC.
• Ensure that new POS procedures are shared and implemented in the factory.
• Ensure that all technical issues raised by the plant are addressed, analyzed, and communicated to the MEC team and the local Owner process team to define technical solutions.
• Ensure a good understanding of customer standards and their interpretation on the product and process.
• Ensure the application and maintenance of the APTIV Problem Solving (DPS) method for error analysis and resolution.

Your Background

• Master's degree / Engineering Diploma in industrial engineering, electromechanics, mechatronics, mechanics, freshly graduated or with one year experience in the automotive industry or similar position.
• Good problem solving, adaptation and teamwork skills,
• Ability to work under stress and manage various projects.
• Fluent French and English Speaker
