Job Overview
Performs basic activities in the routine and preventive maintenance at facilities and on manufacturing machinery for assigned area(s).
Main Target Summary- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines, following manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must respect health & safety rules and environmental regulations.
- Ensure a good level of 5S for equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects for maintenance.
- Bac + 2,3 (Mechanical or Electromechanical diploma)
- 2 to 4 years' experience in industrial environment in Maintenance Department
- Electrical, Mechanical, automation, drawing reading, Technical analysis following std 8D methods.
