Location Overview
Join our team in Amanjena. Inspired by the rose-hued buildings of old Marrakech, palatial Amanjena is close to the fabled Red City, set in its own expanse of gardens and grand open spaces. Shaded courtyards with fountains lead to the central basin, bordered by spacious standalone Pavilions & Maisons, many with private pools. Role
The night auditor is responsible for performing the hotel's end-of-day financial and operational reconciliations, ensuring all revenue transactions are accurately recorded and reported. During the overnight shift, the Night Auditor prepares financial summaries, verifies system balances, and ensures all data is closed and ready for the next business day. He plays a vital role in the hotel's daily closing process.

Responsibilities
Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile and verify the accuracy of revenue postings from all departments (Rooms, F&B, SPA, Boutique,…) Check and correct discrepancies between actual revenue and system reports Balance all departments' daily postings and ensure all transactions are properly allocated Verify taxes, service charges, and discounts are correctly applied Close the day in the Property Management System (PMS) and ensure system roll-over is completed without errors Reconcile credit card and payment transactions against pos reports Generate and distribute Daily Executive Package reports & reconciliations for finance and management review Verify room rates against reservation data Verify accommodation rebates, complimentary & house use rooms, no-shows, and cancellations are properly authorized and documented Check the sequential order of outlets vouchers and investigate missing vouchers Check and compare menu item prices with the system Verify all discounts, voids and complimentary items are properly authorized and documented Ensure all outlets have closed their shift correctly and report discrepancies Check cash summaries for completeness, supporting receipts, and matching payment types Monitor and record overages/shortages, ensuring proper documentation and escalation Review folios for anomalies or audit flags requiring follow-up by the finance team Reconcile advance deposits and prepayments posted during the day Ensure deposits are applied to the correct reservations and trace unallocated amounts Ensure accurate filing and organization of audit reports and backup documentation (e.g. receipts, shift summaries, guest folios,..) Maintain audit checklist for compliance Monitor interface transmissions to ensure successful data flow into PMS Run and archive system backups and perform maintenance routines a required by IT or finance policy Ensure guest data privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management (with financial background).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel accounting or night audit functions.
• Previous experience with Opera PMS and accounting software.
• Fluency in French and English required; additional language is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
