Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
Solution Architect / Telecom Referent
to support the modernization and cloud transformation of a Commercial Information System (CIS). The role involves designing, migrating, and optimizing telecom BSS/OSS systems while acting as a technical and functional expert across telecom domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and define target architectures and support migration from legacy systems to
    cloud-native BSS/OSS solutions
  • Act as a
    technical and functional referent
    for critical business processes such as billing, pricing, CRM, order management, and catalogs
  • Configure, administer, and optimize
    BSCS platforms
    (billing, rating, mediation, customer management)
  • Coordinate integrations between BSCS and systems like CRM, ERP, provisioning, mediation, and digital platforms
  • Ensure
    data quality, billing accuracy, security, regulatory compliance, and high availability
  • Support the launch of new telecom services (fixed, mobile, data, VAS)
  • Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvements
  • Supervise integrators and support modernization and transformation projects
  • Participate in tenders, documentation, and technical team support

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of
    TM Forum frameworks
  • Expertise in
    telecom technologies
    (Fiber, 5G, VoLTE, etc.)
  • Deep experience with
    BSCS
    (Billing, Rating, Mediation, CRM, Order & Catalog Management)
  • Cloud architecture experience (
    AWS, Azure
    )
  • Databases & integration:
    Oracle, SQL, SOA, APIs
  • Modern technologies: Microservices, Containers, DevSecOps
  • Tools & stack exposure: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, Kubernetes, Kafka, Keycloak, Elastic Stack, GitLab, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana

Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of telecom processes: pricing, billing, payments, customer service, provisioning, data migration
  • Experience with
    BSS/OSS integrations
    (CRM, ERP, e-invoicing, collections, etc.)
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Project and change management exposure

Soft Skills

  • Leadership and autonomy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Team player, ability to work under pressure

Desired Profile

  • 15+ years
    of experience in the telecom sector
  • 7–10 years
    in a similar Solution Architect / Telecom role
  • Strong hands-on experience in
    BSCS and IS transformation projects
  • Education:
    Bac+5
    (Telecom, Network, or Computer Science Engineering)
  • Certifications preferred:
    SCRUM, ITIL, PMP, Prince2
  • Fluent in
    French and English
