Chief Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to lead our accounting function and drive key finance initiatives, including ERP implementation and digitalization. This role combines hands-on accounting expertise with leadership, strategic thinking, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

● Oversee daily accounting operations: AP, AR, fixed assets, banking, and general ledger

● Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

● Prepare statutory financial statements and IFRS-compliant reports

● Perform account reconciliations and maintain proper documentation

● Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to achieve high performance and accuracy

● Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial partners to ensure compliance and smooth audits

● Drive process improvements and support finance digitalization initiatives

● Manage
inventory
accounting, ensuring accuracy and proper controls

● Lead the
ERP
implementation and manage its ongoing operation, working closely with IT and external consultants

Qualifications & Experience

● Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit

● At least
6 years
of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial setting

● Strong hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO) is essential

● Deep understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations

● Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and develop a team

● ERP implementation and management experience is a strong advantage

● Analytical mindset with excellent organizational and prioritization skills

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
