Job Summary:
The BDC Manager oversees the Business Development Center, driving customer engagement, lead generation, and appointment setting to maximize sales opportunities. This role involves managing the BDC team, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless communication between the sales team and potential customers to achieve dealership or company sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Lead, train, and manage the BDC team to ensure high performance and achievement of key metrics.
⦁ Develop and implement effective strategies for lead generation, customer follow-up, and appointment scheduling.
⦁ Monitor and analyze BDC metrics such as lead response time, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
⦁ Maintain CRM systems with accurate data entry and timely updates to track customer interactions and leads.
⦁ Handle escalated customer inquiries and ensure exceptional customer service standards.
⦁ Prepare regular reports on BDC performance and suggest improvements.
⦁ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance BDC operations.
Qualifications:
⦁ Proven experience in a BDC or sales management role, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
⦁ Strong leadership and team management skills.
⦁ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
⦁ Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite
⦁ Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
⦁ Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
⦁ High level of organization and attention to detail.
⦁ Negotiation Skills – Finding win-win deals that satisfy both the buyer and the dealership.
Preferred:
⦁ Proven experience in a BDC or sales management role, preferably in the automotive or related industry. (Strong Asset)
