LocumGNC is a dynamic and rapidly growing UK healthcare recruitment agency, specialising in the placement of high-calibre locum doctors across NHS and private healthcare providers nationwide. With a strong reputation for service excellence and compliance, we are expanding our operations team and looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator to support our finance function from Tangier, Morocco or remotely.
Role Overview:
As an Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator, you will play an important role in managing the financial operations of our busy recruitment agency. You'll be responsible for raising invoices, reconciling payments, dealing with client and candidate payment queries, and assisting the finance team in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial processes.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within an established UK recruitment business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise client invoices and ensure accuracy of billing information
- Process timesheets and ensure correct rates and hours are applied
- Chase outstanding payments and manage debtor lists
- Reconcile incoming payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Respond to payment queries from clients and candidates promptly and professionally
- Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting
- Support the payroll and compliance teams as required
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company financial policies
Required Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in accounts, finance, or administration (desirable but not essential)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using accounting or CRM software is an advantage
