The Opportunities

We are hiring a talented Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to transformative projects within the dynamic event management domain. You will play a critical role in building and optimizing scalable data solutions, developing efficient data pipelines, and integrating APIs to enhance cloud-based event data platforms. This position offers a unique chance to create impactful solutions for this fast-evolving industry.

Your Profile

• Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions for the Data Platform using SQL, dbt, Airflow, and Airbyte, while ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and client goals.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of event-related data structures to support efficient data management.
• Build, maintain, and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines to ensure seamless integration of data from diverse platforms and event management systems.
• Collaborate with the Head of Data Intelligence and Event Data Analytics teams to align on project requirements and deliverables.
• Effectively communicate updates, insights, and solutions to project stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities for improving event data workflows and processes, proposing and implementing enhancements.
• Ensure high-quality, reliable data engineering solutions tailored to the event management sector.
• Contribute to data analysis tasks when needed, bridging the gap between data engineering and analytics.
• Provide mentorship and informal guidance to junior team members or new hires as needed.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; 
  minimum
  of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer ( a must)
• Strong experience
  with SQL, dbt, Airflow, and Airbyte.
• Hands-on experience
  with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery; API setup expertise is a strong plus.
• Experience or interest in DevOps practices is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to propose creative and effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Keen attention to detail with a focus on high-quality data engineering outputs.
• Fluent in English
  , with strong written and spoken proficiency.
