TecAlliance interconnects global automotive aftermarket data and knowledge from order to invoice. With over 900 colleagues working in 140 countries, we are owned by 34 automotive companies like Bosch, Continental, Rheinmetall, and ZF. We act as an information hub and process facilitator for them, ensuring standardized processes that help clients save costs (process and indirect costs) and time through efficient processes enabled by our software.As Technical Consultant (m/f/d) Africa you will be part of a Business Focus Team consisting of 5 people (Commercial Business Owner, Sales Manager, Technical Consultant, Sales Service, 1st level support) that are ideally located in the region they are responsible for (e.g. Africa). All team members are committed to offer full coverage (product knowledge) and short response time service. The Business Focus team have value chain responsibility from Car Manufacturer -> Spare part manufacturer -> Trader -> Garage. The most important goal is to make sure that added value is provided for our customers.Responsibilities:Analyzing requirements during the technical pre-sale activity supporting sales managers in presenting our software solutions to prospects and customers on the technical side.Working on customer onboarding projects, supporting our client during project implementation phase and driving them to productive environment.Documenting the scope of services required by the customer as well as the internal documentation for workflows.Preparing of and following up on presentations, meetings and workshops with our international customer base.Building and maintaining strong client relationships by understanding their business objectives and data requirements, collaborating to define project scopes and deliverables, conducting regular meetings, and providing project updates.Providing technical consultation on data architecture, integration, and management best practices, assisting in the design, development, and implementation of data solutions while troubleshooting issues promptly.Leading and managing end-to-end data projects by defining timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring execution within scope, schedule, and budget.Conducting client training sessions to enhance the effective use of data solutions and share industry insights and best practices to support informed decision-making.Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation guides, user manuals, and records of project activities and client interactions.Collaborating with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and analysts to deliver integrated data solutions, while actively contributing to internal knowledge sharing and technical expertise.Knowledge sharing on SME product lines with other Technical Consultants.Job Qualifications:Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Consultant in project management, pre-sales, technical consulting or product implementation (IT and software) or a similar role in the data industry.Strong knowledge of data technologies, databases, and data integration.Experience in usage of Data formats like XML, JSON and SQL as well as some experience in a programming language that could handle Web Services, e. g. C#, Java, JavaScript, PHP.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Project management experience and familiarity with project management tools.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Willingness to travel for client meetings and project implementations.Fluency in English, French and Arabic languages.* Please note- that TecAlliance can only consider candidates for employment who are legally authorized to work in a country listed in the job posting, where we have an established legal entity and payroll system.
