3D Designer

Job Summary

The
3D Designer
is responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and developing high-quality 3D visuals, models, and animations for a variety of projects. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams—such as marketing, product design, architecture, or engineering—to bring creative concepts to life through realistic and engaging 3D content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D models, textures, lighting, and renders based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and clients to understand project objectives and translate them into visual designs.
  • Create photo-realistic renderings, animations, and simulations for presentations, marketing materials, or product visualizations.
  • Optimize 3D models for performance and usability across various platforms (web, AR/VR, video, print, etc.).
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and project aesthetics.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide creative input during concept development.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies in 3D design and visualization.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, 3D Animation, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization.
  • Proven portfolio showcasing high-quality 3D work.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in 3D software such as
    Blender, Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, or Rhino
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    rendering engines
    (e.g., V-Ray, Corona, Arnold, KeyShot).
  • Experience with
    Adobe Creative Suite
    (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator).
  • Knowledge of
    texturing, lighting, and UV mapping
    .
  • Familiarity with
    AR/VR tools
    (Unreal Engine, Unity) is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new tools.
