Your Mission: The challenge of this position is to be the guarantor of the group's ambitious development plan on the Business Unit Retail.

About the Role
: Reporting directly to the Retail Manager BU, your main mission will therefore be to develop the turnover achieved by the BU on the International part with local Retail players, directly with retailers or on an indirect channel with specialized distributors.

Responsibilities
:

  • Take over the turnover portfolio achieved by a brand at the international with retail targets such as supermarkets, selective or specialized channels to develop it with current customers but also to open new brands by relying on internal and external resources.
  • Develop other brands of the company on all distribution channels of the BU at the international level in African countries, by relying on our BU and regional representatives.
  • On these activities, you will work as a true entrepreneur to identify, qualify the targets of customers on the entrusted markets so that subsequently, you can sell and negotiate on these same targets the brands/products that have been entrusted to you.
  • Ultimately, and after demonstrating your ability to manage transversal relationships, this position will contain a hierarchical part with the management of Retail resources based internationally.

Qualifications
: BAC +5 in commerce/marketing, you must have international experience in the distribution sector of agri-food products.

Required Skills
:

  • You will have demonstrated your ability to develop turnover in countries with local supermarket chains or specialized distributors, selective channels.
  • To do this, you have developed a marketing analysis capacity for product/market pairs to be the most efficient vs. a wide geographical scope.
  • Your negotiation skills are part of your strengths to conclude commercial development actions where you will have applied your sales skills.
  • We are looking for a real entrepreneur profile who will be able to take charge of business development while being efficient on multichannel and transversal management.
  • Thus, you know how to work with different internal and external actors with whom you will have to succeed in establishing relationships of trust to respond effectively and quickly to the needs of your customers.

Required languages: French and English.

Very frequent travel in African countries.
