Key Responsibilities

Imports & Customs (Primary Focus)

· Manage all import documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, HS codes, etc.) to ensure smooth customs clearance.

· Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies for timely release of shipments.

· Monitor inbound shipment schedules, proactively resolve delays, and communicate ETAs to Customer Service and Supply Chain teams.

· Ensure compliance with Moroccan customs regulations, FMC policies, and import/export control requirements.

· Track and report all inbound shipments, costs, and variances.

· Escalate critical delays or compliance issues to Supply Chain Manager and Regional stakeholders.

Warehouse Support (Secondary Focus)

· Act as daily on-site support for the Warehouse Manager in Casablanca.

· Supervise warehouse staff in tasks such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory management.

· Ensure warehouse processes comply with FMC SOPs, GMP/GDP standards, and safety regulations.

· Support stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation with SAP.

· Assist in coordinating outbound shipments with Customer Service and transport providers.

· Cover basic warehouse reporting when the Warehouse Manager is engaged in project work.

Requirements

Education & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.

· Minimum 3–5 years' experience in imports, customs clearance, or international logistics.

· Experience working in a regulated industry (pharma, medical devices, FMCG) preferred.

· Exposure to warehouse operations and staff supervision is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of Moroccan import/export regulations and customs processes.

· Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

· Strong Excel and reporting skills.

· Ability to multitask between import documentation and warehouse supervision.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management (internal teams, customs, brokers, forwarders).

· Fluent in French and Arabic; English proficiency required.

Key Success Indicators

· On-time clearance and delivery of imports.
