Junior Accountant

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team and support day-to-day

accounting operations across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

● Record and process daily accounting transactions (AP, AR)

● Assist with bank reconciliations, supplier invoices, and payments.

● Support intercompany accounting and journal entries across group entities.

● Maintain accurate records of expense reports, petty cash, and payroll entries.

● Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports.

● Ensure compliance with Moroccan GAAP, IFRS, and internal policies.

● Support tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, CNSS, etc.) under supervision.

● Participate in audits and provide documentation as needed.

● Work closely with the Senior Accountant and Finance Director to improve financial

processes and controls.

Qualifications & Skills

● Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

● 0–2 years of professional experience (internships or entry-level accounting roles).

● Solid knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

● Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).

● Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (Zoho Books, Microsoft Dynamics, or

similar is a plus).

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Good communication skills in French and English.

● Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced

environment.
