Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Sports Director located in Rabat. The Sports Director will oversee the planning, organization, and implementation of sports programs and events for Special Olympics Morocco. Responsibilities include managing sports teams, coordinating with coaches and staff, ensuring adherence to training standards, and promoting athlete development. The role also involves liaising with external stakeholders, managing resources, and maintaining alignment with the core values and mission of Special Olympics Morocco.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Physical Education and a strong understanding of Sports and Athletics
• Skills in Coaching and Sports Management, including organizing and leading sports teams and programs
• Strong Communication skills for effectively collaborating with coaches, athletes, and external partners
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee sports-related programs and events
• Proficiency in organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of inclusionary practices and promoting diversity is an asset
• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field is highly desirable
• Previous experience in a similar role or within the sports or non-profit sector
