Your Role as an APU Process Engineer

  • Lead the industrialization of new P1 projects.
  • Improve production efficiency (machines and direct labor).
  • Share and develop industrial process know-how.
  • Contribute to the design of new equipment and production lines.
  • Lead Lean design workshops.
  • Manage new equipment introduction using IPROM.
  • Follow equipment/line development with suppliers.
  • Design small tools and validate supplier proposals.
  • Define acceptance criteria for new equipment/lines.
  • Perform pre-acceptance, acceptance, and line trials.
  • Prepare reports, action plans, and readiness for FDPR.
  • Collect and analyze equipment/process capability data.
  • Set up equipment and propose the Process Validation Plan.
  • Participate in PFMEA and Control Plan creation.
  • Monitor QCDM and propose improvements.
  • Track equipment performance and identify optimizations.
  • Reduce cycle time and optimize material, labor, and investments.
  • Update routing in the information system with SPV validation.
  • Support production technicians (training, analysis, problem solving).
  • Coordinate with suppliers for support and improvement.
  • Participate in SPV workshops and APU QRQC.
  • Ensure compliance with Valeo safety and environmental rules.
  • Maintain 5S and report issues.
  • Escalate any safety violations.
