Position: Backend Developer (Data/System Integrations)

Location: On-site

At Lysi, our mission is to simplify growth through smarter systems, seamless integrations, and standout brand experiences. As our team expands, we're looking for an experienced Backend developer with a strong understanding of data analysis and system integration.

The Role:

We are seeking a talented and driven Mid-Level Backend Developer with a strong focus on data and system integrations to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that connect various applications and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure backend services and APIs.
  • Integrate various internal and external systems and data sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development and integrations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer, ideally with 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in [mention specific programming languages, e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, , Go].
  • Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Demonstrated experience with data and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with API design and development (RESTful, GraphQL).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) platforms (e.g., Celigo, Workato, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
  • Familiarity with NetSuite a huge plus.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and protocols.
  • Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
