Job description

We are hiring on behalf of our partner in the technology sector and are looking for a Security Operations Analyst to take on the following responsibilities :

Operational Security Management:

Spam Management:

· Monitor and analyze email flows to identify and filter spam and malicious messages.

· Implement and adjust anti-spam filters.

· Collaborate with teams to minimize the impact of spam on the organization.

Exception Management:

· Identify and process security and filtering exceptions.

· Analyze exception requests to validate their legitimacy.

· Document and track exception resolutions to prevent misuse or security gaps.

Security Incident Management:

· Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents (phishing, malware, intrusions, etc.).

· Coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery actions.

· Contribute to incident reporting and continuous improvement of security policies.

Profile required

Education

· Minimum bachelor’s degree (Bac+4) in Networks and Security

Certification

· A certification in information security is desirable (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent).

· ITIL v3 certified (Minimum Foundation level).

Overall Work Experience in the Field

Practical knowledge of ITIL concepts and processes (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, Configuration Management) > 2 years.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Knowledge of spam filtering and email security tools

· Good understanding of cybersecurity incidents and forensic analysis techniques

· Intercultural receptiveness and flexibility.

· Highly organized with a proven ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and use time effectively.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; works effectively in a team.

· Ability to operate within a matrix structure.

· Analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and documentation skills

· Fluent in English.
