Job Title: Project Manager – Digital Payments

Employment type: Contract (On-site)

Contract length: 12 months

Location: Casablanca, Morocco

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

Support day-to-day PMO execution for the digital-bank program by coordinating workstreams, maintaining delivery controls, preparing governance materials, and driving closure of actions and dependencies.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain an integrated delivery roadmap covering business, digital, marketing, technology, finance, operations, and customer-service workstreams.
  • Define and track milestones, deliverables, owners, dependencies, risks, open decisions, and mitigation actions through go-live.
  • Prepare governance forums, agendas, decision points, meeting materials, action logs, and follow-up reporting.
  • Monitor workstream and squad progress, identify blockers or scope gaps, and coordinate resolution across teams.
  • Produce clear status dashboards and management reporting covering schedule, quality, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
  • Support change management, adoption of new ways of working, and readiness activities for launch.
  • Maintain detailed plans, trackers, action logs, and delivery documentation.
  • Coordinate with workstream owners to collect progress updates and verify follow-through on commitments.
  • Support the Senior Project Manager with analyses, meeting preparation, and follow-up.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Consulting or transformation-delivery experience, preferably in banking or digital initiatives.
  • Hands-on capability in planning, status reporting, risk and issue tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple teams and deadlines.
  • The ability to work onsite in Morocco throughout the assignment.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred), including project management certification.
  • Previous experience within Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.
  • Regional experience, including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; English, French and/or Arabic capability is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

  • The ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.
