YOUR ROLE

As a Process Engineer, you will define the plant's need for crimping, bending and connector repair tools to support engineering changes and new projects. In a second place, it is responsible for ensuring the reception, installation and validation of equipment according to the start-up plans.

Responsibilities

Ensure the definition of the need for tools (crimping, bending and repair of connectors) for new projects as well as the budget required to issue the IR.

·         Lead the team in the installation, validation and continuous improvement actions on the components (Quality, volume, cost) of the processes (crimping, folding and repair of connectors).

·         Ensure the availability of tools at the SOP by making the necessary anticipations.

·         Prepare Capacity Studies for crimping tools on a monthly basis and ensure that they are updated.

·         Check the inventory of crimping and bending tools.

·         Ensure effective and rapid feedback to the Process Owner in the event of a request for information.

·         Regularly attend technical conferences with plant departments (quality, reliability, maintenance, production, logistics).

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Engineering degree or master’s degree in industrial engineering with at least 2 years of experience at the company.
  • Communication, analysis spirit and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Fluent French and English.
  • Synthesis and analytical spirit are required.
  • Strong understanding and respect of Lean principles.
