Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Main Mission
• Ensure customer satisfaction by supervising daily activities, anticipating customer requirements, maintaining a good relationship with customers, and managing the launch of new programs within the plant.
• Lead logistics teams and establish PC&L objectives.
• Ensure proper recruitment, training, and development of team members.
• Supervise logistics processes, including:
• Overseeing daily activities.
• Preparing and proposing the Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP) to the plant management committee.
• Ensuring the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with Autonomous Production Unit (APU/UAP) managers.
• Improving supplier and logistics partner performance and relationships.
• Monitor logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions in coordination with other plant functions (Quality, Production, System Efficiency, etc.).
• Participate in the development of the PC&L network within the division.
• Manage warehouse operations.
• Handle supply disruptions and customer logistics incidents.
• Validate engineering changes to prevent the generation of obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate information flow between the Sales Director, Purchasing Director, Manufacturing Department, and Plant Controller to enable efficient overall management and ensure on-time delivery of finished products.
• Monitor the effectiveness, compliance, and suitability of the HSE Management System to achieve objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Be responsible for the continuous improvement of all aspects related to their area of responsibility within the department.
• Know, understand, and promote the Code of Ethics and the Management Code..
Your profile
and competencies to succeed The ideal candidate will have/be:
• Bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply-chain management (Master’s preferred)
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field, with a track record of success in process improvement and reengineering
• Minimum bi-lingual (English + one other languages)
• Knowledge of logistics regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
• Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and execute plans to achieve result
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions
• Team spirit / Openness to new ideas / Ability to put a plan to action What we can do for you
