We work with banks, financial institutions, government related entities, large corporates and emerging businesses across debt and equity capital markets, cross border syndications and corporate advisory. As our regional operations expand, we are looking for an HR Specialist to take ownership of the human resources function in our Dubai office. Role Summary The HR Specialist will manage the full spectrum of human resources activity, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, compliance and offboarding. This role works closely with the senior leadership team and requires a high level of professionalism, discretion and independent judgement.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end to end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer management
• Prepare offer letters, employment contracts and all related HR documentation in line with UAE Labour Law
• Coordinate visa, labour card, Emirates ID and medical insurance processes with the company PRO
• Manage MOHRE registration, WPS compliance and all statutory requirements
• Deliver a structured onboarding and induction experience for new joiners
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance and leave management systems
• Support the monthly payroll cycle and liaise with Finance on payroll inputs
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and the employee handbook
• Coordinate the annual performance appraisal cycle and support training and development planning
• Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and manage employee relations matters with confidentiality
• Plan and drive employee engagement initiatives
• Prepare HR reports and headcount data for management as required Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken. Arabic is mandatory for this role
• Three to five years of HR generalist experience, preferably within the UAE
• Working knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE procedures, WPS and visa processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within financial services, investment banking or professional services
• Experience with HRMS or HRIS platforms
• CIPD, SHRM or equivalent professional certification
• Experience supporting a multi country or multi entity organisation
