Atlas Pharma Maroc is the Moroccan subsidiary of Grupo Tecnimede, a Portuguese pharmaceutical group with around 900 employees, operating in Portugal, Spain, Morocco and other international markets. From our Berrechid site we develop, manufacture and market medicines for the Moroccan market and for export. To strengthen our Finance Department, we are looking for a Management Controller.
Your mission
Reporting to the Head of Finance of Atlas Pharma Maroc, you will ensure the reliability of management information. You will work closely with the operational teams to steer the site's performance.
Key responsibilities
• Lead the annual budgeting process and forecasts, working with the operational departments and Group Management Control;
• Produce the monthly reporting (P&L, budget vs. actual variance analysis, KPIs) within the deadlines set by the Group;
• Monitor production costs: calculate and update standard costs, analyse manufacturing variances and value inventory;
• Analyse profitability by product, customer and channel, and propose actions to improve margins;
• Monitor capital expenditure (CAPEX) and overheads;
• Take part in monthly and annual closings, in coordination with accounting;
• Help improve management tools, procedures and dashboards;
• Prepare ad hoc analyses for local management and for the Group. Profile
• Degree in Finance, Management Control or Audit (ISCAE, ENCG, business school or equivalent);
• 4 to 6 years of experience in management control, ideally in a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics or similar). Experience in external audit is a plus;
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and product costing;
• Excellent Excel skills, plus experience with an ERP (SAP preferred) and reporting / BI tools;
• Fluent French and Arabic. Good English is essential, as you will work in an international Group. Portuguese or Spanish is an asset;
• Rigour and strong analytical skills. Able to explain figures clearly to operational teams and to meet tight deadlines.
