Strong hands-on experience managing online marketing campaigns: display, performance, retail media, social… with a solid understanding of KPIs and budget management. Understanding of the retail media / commerce media model — always-on, performance-priced and audience-led — and how it differs from traditional placement-based advertising. Working knowledge of attribution and measurement principles (ROAS, closed-loop reporting, CPC/CPM auction pricing), with the ability to speak credibly to agencies about performance outcomes. Comfort selling first-party data and audience monetization propositions (audience segments, insights products etc) as a distinct commercial offering, not just media placements. Ability to operate within a standardized, centrally-defined commercial playbook while adapting to local market dynamics across Jumia markets. Sensitivity to brand identity and content quality.
