Service Technician

A Snapshot of your day Your day involves performing maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient renewable energy generation while adhering to strict safety standards. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, supporting site operations and local purchasing activities to ensure smooth project execution. You will also maintain accurate service documentation, collaborate with key stakeholders, and contribute to maximizing turbine performance and minimizing downtime in a dynamic field environment. How You’ll Make An Impact
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Conduct inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, identifying and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Support turbine performance improvements through system upgrades and the implementation of new technologies.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements while accurately documenting maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with site managers, engineering teams, and colleagues to troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate work activities, and drive continuous operational improvement. What You Bring
• Technical Diploma/associate degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of experience, or High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in wind turbine maintenance or industrial maintenance.
• Valid Wind Turbine Maintenance Certification and Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training certification.
• Strong knowledge of wind turbine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with experience using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting software.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in challenging weather conditions, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and reporting skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
