About the position
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities while ensuring compliance with global procurement standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, leading contract negotiations, and supporting procurement transformation projects while delivering cost-effective, compliant, and innovative procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Source-to-Contract Execution
• Lead and manage end-to-end sourcing activities for local procurement categories in alignment with the global procurement strategy.
• Prepare and execute RFQs/RFPs, evaluate supplier proposals, and support negotiations to achieve the best value for money.
• Create, manage, and maintain contracts within SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract (S2C), ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement and legal requirements.
• Monitor supplier onboarding, registration, and qualification processes within Ariba.
• Ensure all sourcing activities comply with internal procurement policies and procedures. Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for local business stakeholders on sourcing and contracting matters.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, define specifications, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Drive stakeholder alignment with global procurement policies, tools, and processes. Contract Negotiation & Supplier Management
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms and conditions aligned with business objectives.
• Manage contract documentation and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and procurement standards.
• Resolve contract-related issues and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
• Support the development of strong supplier relationships and continuous performance improvement. Cost Management & Procurement Performance
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service delivery.
• Analyze spend data and procurement performance metrics to support informed decision-making.
• Drive procurement best practices to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost optimization. Governance & Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with Allianz Global Procurement Standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, reporting activities, and documentation control processes.
• Promote ethical, transparent, and sustainable procurement practices across all sourcing activities. Global Procurement Collaboration
• Collaborate with Global Procurement teams to implement and maintain procurement processes in line with global standards.
• Contribute to process harmonization initiatives, tool enhancements, and digital procurement transformation projects.
• Support the adoption of procurement best practices across the organization. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management, ideally within an international or shared services environment.
• Strong experience managing Source-to-Contract activities.
• Proficiency in SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract (S2C).
• Knowledge of SAP MM and procurement reporting tools is considered an advantage.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a matrix organization.
