Role Description The Food Server is responsible for providing attentive, efficient, and courteous service to guests in the resort’s dining outlets. This full-time, on-site role is based in Marrakesh and involves greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving food and beverages according to established standards. The Food Server ensures tables are set and maintained, coordinates with kitchen and bar staff, and responds promptly to guest requests or concerns. Daily tasks include processing payments, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and adhering to health, safety, and hygiene guidelines. The role contributes directly to creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering a high-quality dining experience aligned with the resort’s luxury positioning. Qualifications
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Experience or knowledge in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including menu familiarity and serving standards.
• Basic Cooking awareness to understand dish components, preparation methods, and special dietary requirements.
• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, or upscale dining environments preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices; relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly spoken by international guests are beneficial.
