Cost & GL Accountant Department: Finance & Accounting

Experience:
2 Years ERP System: Odoo Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost & GL Accountant with 2 years of relevant experience to join our Finance team. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, managing general ledger activities, analyzing costs, and supporting monthly closing and financial reporting using Odoo ERP.

Key Responsibilities
- Record and review daily accounting transactions on Odoo.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Perform monthly bank, supplier, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyze company costs and expenses.
- Prepare cost reports and analyze actual costs versus budgets or previous periods.
- Ensure proper cost allocation and classification.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare supporting schedules and financial reports.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable accounting standards. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in General Ledger and Cost Accounting.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is required.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team.
