Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our finance department in Casablanca. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting transactions, ensuring full compliance with local regulatory requirements, and supporting monthly and yearly financial closing processes in an international corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations in accordance with Moroccan accounting standards (Code Général de la Comptabilité Marocaine).
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings using SAP.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax, Income Tax) and timely filing of statutory declarations.
• Support financial reporting and auditing procedures, providing accurate analytical data using Excel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders in English on financial reporting and inquiries.
• Assist in alignment with IFRS standards for periodic consolidation or corporate reporting. Qualifications & Skills

Education:
Master’s Degree (Bac+5) in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
•
Experience:
2 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in an international company or multinational environment.
• Technical Expertise:
• In-depth knowledge of Moroccan accounting laws and tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO modules).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Data analysis, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex formulas).
• Exposure to or knowledge of IFRS is a strong advantage (+).
• Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) is required. Fluency in French is essential.
