Role Description
The Owner role at Akili in the Rabat Metropolitan Area is a full-time, on-site leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial direction of the local organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining business objectives, setting performance goals, and making key decisions on product, partnerships, and investments. The Owner leads and mentors cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration while ensuring alignment with Akili’s global mission in digital medicine. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clinical partners, technology vendors, regulators, and other stakeholders to support growth and compliance. The Owner also monitors market trends, evaluates new opportunities, manages budgets, and ensures that operations meet legal, ethical, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and management skills, including team building, strategic planning, and decision-making.
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, life sciences, or technology-related industries, ideally with exposure to neurology, psychiatry, or cognitive disorders.
- Strong business acumen in areas such as operations management, financial oversight, and organizational development.
- Ability to establish and maintain partnerships with clinical organizations, technology providers, and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Comfort with innovative technologies, digital products, and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and to drive change and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, technology, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
