Role Description The Food Server role at TUI is a full-time, on-site position based in Marrakesh. In this role, the Food Server provides attentive and friendly customer service, welcoming guests, presenting menus, answering questions, and taking food and beverage orders accurately. Daily tasks include serving meals and drinks, ensuring tables are properly set and clean, and coordinating with kitchen staff to deliver orders efficiently and in line with safety and hygiene standards. The Food Server handles payment processes, responds to guest requests, and supports the team in maintaining a high-quality dining experience. This position also involves following health and safety regulations, assisting with basic food preparation or buffet setup when needed, and contributing to a collaborative, guest-focused environment. Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on creating welcoming and positive guest experiences.
- Experience or knowledge in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including basic understanding of menus and serving standards.
- Clear and professional Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic Cooking or food handling skills are an advantage, especially in assisting with simple preparation or buffet service.
- Ability to work on-site in Marrakesh in a fast-paced hospitality environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Attention to detail in cleanliness, presentation, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Prior experience in hospitality, restaurants, or hotels is beneficial but not strictly required.
- Ability to work well in a diverse team, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Language skills in English and/or additional languages are an asset for supporting international guests.
