Role Description The Human Resources Executive volunteer role is a remote position focused on supporting and enhancing the organization’s human resources-related processes and practices. Main tasks include managing HR operations, maintaining and updating HR policies, and supporting volunteer and staff onboarding and documentation. The role involves handling employee and volunteer relations matters, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a respectful and inclusive environment consistent with the institution’s values. The Human Resources Executive will also contribute to developing HR frameworks, coordinating basic training and orientation, and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and ethical standards. This volunteer role requires proactive communication with leadership and team members across different locations to support HR management . Main qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR management, including planning and overseeing HR initiatives.
- Experience in HR Operations and HR Policies, such as organizing records, maintaining HR documentation, and supporting policy development.
- Ability to manage Employee Relations, including addressing concerns, fostering engagement, and supporting a positive organizational culture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, multicultural environment.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Previous experience in volunteer management or non-profit HR is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in Human Resources, organizational development, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required.
