Healthcare Specialist

Role Description The Healthcare Specialist will provide direct patient care, support clinical assessments, and assist with implementing care plans in collaboration with medical and nursing staff. This full-time, on-site role is based in Marrakesh-Safi, Morocco and involves monitoring patient status, documenting care activities, and following established healthcare protocols and safety standards. The specialist will coordinate with colleagues to ensure timely response to patient needs, participate in training and quality improvement initiatives, and help educate patients and families on treatments and preventive care. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, adhering to regulatory and organizational guidelines, and contributing to a respectful, inclusive care environment. Qualifications
- Clinical care and medical knowledge, including skills in Medicine and Healthcare, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices in a patient-centered setting.
- Emergency response capabilities, ideally with EMT training or equivalent experience, and familiarity with basic life support and emergency protocols.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including clear documentation and reporting.
- Experience in Training, such as participating in or delivering staff education, patient instruction, or ongoing professional development activities.
- Relevant diploma or degree in nursing, allied health, or a related medical field; professional certification or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Marrakesh-Safi, Morocco, manage multiple priorities in a clinical environment, and follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in local languages and basic English or French is beneficial, along with strong ethical standards and respect for diverse backgrounds.
