About the Role
To support our rapid industrial ramp-up, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen and drive the implementation of our quality management systems at Jorf Lasfar.
This role is not limited to compliance—it is about building a robust, scalable, and high-performing quality framework aligned with international automotive standards. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, supporting audits, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities
Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO9001 and IATF16949 systems
Contribute to the definition and deployment of quality policies and objectives
Ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of certification standards
Audit Management (Internal & External)
Support customer audits and ensure alignment with customer-specific requirements
Follow up on non-conformities and ensure timely corrective actions
Assist in organizing internal audits, LPA audits, and management reviews
Track, verify, and validate corrective and preventive action plans
System Monitoring & Compliance
Monitor daily system operations across departments
Issue inspection reports and track performance against quality objectives
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external standards
Documentation & Process Control
Ensure proper control and effectiveness of quality documentation on-site
Conduct regular audits of controlled documents and records
Maintain structured and compliant documentation practices
Continuous Improvement
Drive improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and quality performance
Promote the use of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and root cause analysis
Support cross-functional problem-solving and operational excellence initiatives
Cross-functional Support
Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and other departments
Support the deployment of additional management systems when required
Contribute to overall industrial performance and quality culture
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality systems management
Experience in industrial environments (automotive or manufacturing preferred)
Certification in IATF16949 internal auditing or equivalent is strongly preferred
Required Skills
Quality & Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO9001 standards
Familiarity with core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA
Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)
Operational & Execution Skills
Ability to drive system implementation and ensure compliance
Strong attention to detail and process discipline
Good command of office tools (Excel, reporting, documentation systems)
Soft Skills & Mindset
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment
Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams
Principled, structured, and solution-oriented approach
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work in industrial environments (noise, heat, dust, etc.)
Availability for occasional business travel
