About the company

We are a leading digital media platform transforming the way people access and experience content. Active since 2006 in a fast-evolving market, we serve over 2 million users worldwide, offering unlimited, personalized access to thousands of newspapers and magazines, delivered seamlessly across devices. Our mission is to empower individuals with trusted, high-quality content that fosters personal growth and discovery.

The role

The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications before they reach our users. This role combines thorough manual testing with test automation across all platforms to identify, document, and report defects that could impact functionality or user experience — contributing directly to the delivery of a polished, seamless product at every release.

Your missions

  • Execute manual tests across web and mobile platforms (iOS/Android), covering regression, sanity, exploratory, and other test types
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts to strengthen regression coverage and speed up release cycles
  • Identify critical and major bugs early in the development cycle and produce clear, structured, reproducible bug reports
  • Understand and contribute to improving test cases, automation coverage, and overall test coverage
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, Customer Care, and QA teams on a day-to-day basis
  • Prioritize testing efforts based on impact, severity, and timelines
  • Develop a solid understanding of user workflows and business logic to test with context

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices
  • Hands-on experience across the full testing spectrum: web, mobile (iOS & Android), API testing, and testing on both real devices and emulators
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
  • Proficiency in writing clear, structured test cases and test plans
  • Familiarity with agile and scrum project methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Mandatory: valid auto-entrepreneur status or registered company — this engagement is open only to candidates able to invoice for their services

Contract & work setup

  • Freelance engagement, compensated on a TJM (daily rate) basis, negotiable based on your experience and profile
  • Hybrid setup based in Tangier: 2 days per week on-site, the rest remote
  • Flexible working hours — we care about results, not rigid schedules
  • A long-term collaboration opportunity — we are looking for a trusted partner to grow with, not just a one-off contractor
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment across Product, Tech, and QA
