What you can expect

Core Responsibilities

Participating & supporting the team on Business development management for Country Cluster NWA: Participate on providing strategy and analysis for entry into new markets. Support on investigating business opportunities with significant scale and synergies to drive growth and leverage current portfolio of products in target markets and applications. Support the team on developing and commercializing existing and new platform opportunities to support market growth. Support the team and Generate market intelligence for relevant industry segments in alignment with the BASF Africa strategy: Participate on the tracking and monitor the market with respect to competition, market dynamics and technology developments. Support the team on providing market intelligence in collaboration with Sales force (including niche applications and secondary markets) Support the head of sales on operational business projects: Sales development support on focus Strategic Business Units and focus Northwest Africa countries Coordinate local industry and Customer Focus Groups in close cooperation with the Business Units & the head of sales Constantly report on all the sales in the region: Participating on the preparation of the reports/presentations related to market intelligence & trends

General Responsibilities Interaction and cooperation with relevant internal interfaces / service units and external parties. Actively participate in BU-oriented meetings. What we expect Education: Education & training required Master, University Degree in Marketing or Business Administration. Technical & Professional Knowledge Industrial Marketing Well organized and strong sense of analysis Capability of reading/translating figures Customer orientation and entrepreneurial drive Good communication skills, both verbal and written Team oriented and willing to interact in multicultural teams IT skills: Office knowledge Language skills (level): Fluent in English & French
