As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. Your primary responsibility will be to operate computed tomography scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients.
Key responsibilities of this position include preparing patients for CT scans, positioning them properly on the CT table, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. You will also be responsible for operating and calibrating the CT scanner, administering contrast agents or dye injections as required, and monitoring the equipment during imaging to ensure high-quality images are captured.
A key aspect of this role is collaborating with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging procedures and assist in diagnosing medical conditions. You will also be responsible for documenting patient information, scan parameters, contrast media used, and any complications in the electronic health record (EHR).
