As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnostic imaging process. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team.

Job Description:

Diagnostics Imaging Professional Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT imaging and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring they are comfortable.
  • Verify patient information, including medical history and allergies, to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate imaging protocols.
  • Position patients properly on the CT table to obtain the necessary images.

Imaging Protocol Development:

  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to determine the most effective imaging procedures for patients.

Patient Safety and Comfort:

  • FOLLOW SAFETY PROTOCOLS TO MINIMIZE RADIATION EXPOSURE TO PATIENTS.
  • Maintain a sterile, safe, and clean environment in the CT room.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning to prevent any risk of injury or discomfort during the scan.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging procedures.
  • Document patient information, scan parameters, and any complications in the electronic health record.

Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Maintain, clean, and perform basic troubleshooting on the CT scanner and associated equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and calibration of CT equipment.

Radiation Safety and Compliance:

  • FOLLOW ALL RADIATION SAFETY PROTOCOLS TO PROTECT BOTH PATIENTS AND STAFF.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and safety standards.
