Strategic UX/UI Creative

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer to join our team.

The successful candidate will work closely with consulting teams on a diverse range of advanced topics, leveraging software development methodologies to deliver value to our clients through providing design and user experience subject matter expertise, and accelerated execution support.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate solid understanding and experience of common visual and interaction design principles and practice, creating appropriate sketches, wireframes, flows, and prototypes.
• Value and apply existing customer insights from research to guide design decisions as well as initiating and supporting research efforts with research partners.
• Frame problems and opportunities clearly through analysis of qualitative and quantitative inputs, and customers and stakeholders' perspectives.
• Propose creative communicative visualizations to deliver research insights to teams and stakeholders (e.g. User journeys, personas, systemic maps).
• Triangulate stakeholder vision, user insights, and cross-functional team discussion inputs, integrating insights into design proposition.
• Master the phases of design from initial sketching to wireframing and high-fidelity prototyping.
• Apply and maintain design systems to deliver scalable, consistent UI components and interactions; adapt designs across platforms and devices to ensure cohesive user experiences.
• Demonstrate experience in testing and iterating based on feedback, both with stakeholders and with users.
• Create routine, informative communication materials explaining design decision-making rationale to team members and stakeholders.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and consultants to solve for customer problems leveraging an agile way of working.
• Understand and incorporate desirability, feasibility, viability, and strategic stakeholder constraints into the design.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience with UX Strategy, UX Research, UX Design, and UI Design.
• Experience working with various tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and others.
• Design thinking experience to discover problems and come up with creative solutions by thoroughly understanding users' goals, frustrations, and end-task.
• Collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, happy to mentor and develop others.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary settings (with design, engineering, and product teams).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, or related Design field.
• Curious and entrepreneurial mindset, ready to dive into different industries, types of user, and stakeholder problems.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. French is a plus.
