Our client, a leading global non-metallic mining company, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance and Administration Manager to lead their agricultural business in Africa.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Establish and maintain the company's chart of accounts, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and prepare financial reporting packs for consolidation.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including receivables, payables, cash flow management, and banking operations.
- Audit and Risk Management: Ensure SOX compliance, assist in internal and financial audits, and implement risk management strategies, including credit controls and approved delegation of authority matrices.
- Budgeting and Administration: Lead the annual budgeting process, analyze and report on budget variances, and provide administrative support for business and regulatory affairs, including license renewals and business travel.
- Minimum 6-10 years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- CA/ACCA qualification and experience in tax management and benefits of imports and exports.
- Proficiency in English, with Spanish speaking a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of direct and indirect tax, FEMA/FERA, and FX regulations.
- Knowledge of TALLY ERP and accounts payable or related accounting functions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
