A dynamic and experienced Nurse Practitioner is sought after for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced 20-bed surgical ICU setting.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment. As a skilled General Surgery Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with highly acute conditions, including burns, trauma, orthopedic, and OB cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients with complex medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Massachusetts
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- 2+ years of experience in General Surgery or related field
