Role Overview
As a data scientist, you will be part of our rapidly growing team. We are seeking an individual who can apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations across various industries, driving significant business impact.
You will partner with clients in different BCG regions and industries, working on key topics such as climate change. Your responsibilities will also include developing thought leadership in scientific communities, delivering papers, and leading conferences on behalf of BCG X.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead conferences on behalf of BCG X
Requirements
- Client-facing role with ambition to lead teams
- Distill complex results or processes into simple visualizations
- Explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner
- Loves building things and works with modern development tools and writes code collaboratively
- Significant experience applying advanced analytics to business situations and synthesizing complex data
- Deep understanding of machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings, and translates this into business implications for clients
- Strong project management skills
