Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description:
In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists, providing therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility, and monitoring patient progress and reporting changes to the supervising physical therapist.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of accredited PTA program.
  • Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
  • MA PTA licensure/certification.
  • First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended.
