About the Job
This role involves working as a spectacle specialist, responsible for dispensing spectacles and other optical products. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Main Duties
- Receiving and processing orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Selecting the right frames and lenses based on the patient's needs.
- Measuring patients' eyes to determine the correct lens prescription.
- Providing support to members in making eyeglass adjustments and repairs.
Key Requirements
- A valid optician's license.
- Knowledge of optical products and business practices is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
The majority of the time will be spent working in a comfortable indoor area, with occasional exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. Safety protocols will be followed at all times.
