Field Service Technician – Electrical/Electro-Mechanical

Location: Ben Ahmed, Morocco

Onsite role with travel as required

Purpose of Role: As a Field Service Technician specialising in Electrical and Electro-Mechanical systems, you will play a critical role in supporting major projects with OCP and other key customers. This position focuses on commissioning and servicing Weir Minerals equipment on-site, with a strong emphasis on electrical components. You will work alongside a skilled mechanical team, bringing your electrical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality installations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission and maintain Weir Minerals equipment with a focus on electrical and electro-mechanical components.
• Provide technical support during installation and troubleshooting on-site.
• Prepare detailed reports in English on electrical systems and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with mechanical service teams to deliver complete solutions to customers.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (minimum Vocational School).
• Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics and electronics is an advantage.
• Intermediate level of spoken and written English; driving licence required.

Must be permanently authorised to work in Morocco without sponsorship.
