Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Acquisition: Monitor and gather agricultural data from various sources (sensors, satellites, APIs).
  • Database Management: Build, maintain, and enhance a comprehensive agricultural data database.
  • Data Modeling: Develop and validate analytical and agronomic models to support business needs.
  • Project Leadership: Coordinate and lead Data Science projects, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to integrate models into web/mobile interfaces.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote best practices in Data Science project management and model development.

Required Profile:

  • Educational Background: Advanced degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of project management experience in agro-business or related fields.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with a deep understanding of mathematical, analytical, and statistical models.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, autonomous, excellent communicator, team player, and able to lead and inspire a team.
