Job Overview:
Webloo is looking for a creative, football-passionate Social Media Manager to join our communications team. This role is about more than just posting; it's about building a community, driving engagement, and telling the story of one of Africa's most successful football clubs.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute original, platform-specific content ideas (short-form video, graphics, stories, campaigns).
- Manage and grow the club's online community across all major platforms.
- Stay on top of trends in football, culture, and digital media to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Work closely with the media and marketing teams to align social strategy with club objectives.
- Monitor analytics and provide insights to continually improve performance.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns around transfers, match days, club announcements, and community initiatives.
- Manage crisis communications and handle sensitive situations on social platforms professionally.
- Proven experience managing social media for a brand, sports team, or entertainment property.
- A knack for storytelling and the ability to generate creative, original concepts.
- Strong understanding of football culture and fan communities.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills (Arabic, French, and/or English a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, game-day environment.
- Experience with influencer partnerships and collaborations within the sports/entertainment space.
