Life & Health (L&H) Modelling Lead – Casablanca

Exceptional opportunity for Moroccan Actuaries (or Actuaries with Knowledge of the Moroccan Market)

Our client, a global leader in the insurance and reinsurance industry, is establishing a new actuarial hub in Casablanca.

This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter-joining a world-class organization as it expands its global presence and builds a centre of excellence to support operations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

As part of this launch, our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Life & Health (L&H) Modelling Lead to play a key role in shaping the hub's actuarial capabilities and leading the transformation of modelling tools and processes across APAC markets.

This is truly an exciting opportunity to shape and lead the modelling strategy for Life & Health reserving across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

You'll play a key role in developing, enhancing, and governing Prophet models and tools that support reserving and financial reporting for multiple markets.

Working closely with regional reserving teams in Singapore, Beijing, Seoul, and Sydney-and partnering with the Global Modelling Centre-you will drive innovation, consistency, and efficiency in actuarial modelling practices across the region.

Requirements
Qualified actuary (FIA, FSA, or equivalent)

10+ years of experience in insurance or reinsurance, with strong exposure to reserving or actuarial modelling.

Expert-level knowledge of Prophet (including DCS) and VBA.

Hands-on experience with actuarial data processing; knowledge of Python and/or SQL is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of Life & Health insurance and reserving practices.

Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively across geographies.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Fluent in English; French proficiency is an advantage.
