Role Overview:
As a Senior
CS Core Nokia Support Engineer
, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support and troubleshooting for Nokia's Core Network solutions. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' networks, optimizing performance, and resolving technical issues in real-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support for Nokia CS (Circuit-Switched) Core Network solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving network issues for the nodes : Nokia MSS, Nokia MGW, LIG, CDS
- Monitor the performance and availability of CS Core network elements and services.
- Work closely with clients to resolve escalated technical issues and improve network reliability.
- Perform system diagnostics, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of network issues.
- Coordinate with Nokia product experts and engineers to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Document technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference.
- Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and configuration changes.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction.
- Provide remote support for network incidents and contribute to proactive maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge transfer to customer and team members
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience for minimum 7 years with Nokia CS Core products (e.g., Nokia MSC, Nokia MGW, Nokia MME, LIG, CDSetc.).
- Strong understanding of telecommunications networks, protocols (e.g., SS7, MAP, SIP, etc.), and IP-based technologies.
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex network issues in a real-time environment.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Nokia's IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) solutions is a plus.
- Certifications in networking (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) or other related areas are a plus.
