Responsibilities
- Filing of company's tax returns
- Ensuring accurate documentation of all tax-related activities and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assessing potential risks and ensuring the organization complies with tax regulations to mitigate risks of penalties or legal issues
- Interacting with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and tax authorities, and providing expert advice on tax-related matters
- Conducting research on tax laws, staying updated on regulatory changes, and analyzing their impact on the organization's tax position
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in tax accounting, compliance, and management, preferably within a corporate environment or big tax and accounting firm.
- Experience in tax compliance, filling, reporting, and familiarity with tax software and systems.
- In-depth understanding and application of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, with a basic knowledge of international taxation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in analyzing complex tax issues and providing strategic recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex tax concepts and strategies.
