Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our global team. This role is critical to ensuring the resilience, security, and performance of Cognitus solutions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and available on-call for mission-critical operations. You will work across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, building scalable infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring 24/7 uptime of our enterprise systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, OpenShift, on-prem).
  • Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for secure multi-cloud deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform; manage packaging and deployments with Helm.
  • Operate and monitor clusters using Lens, Rancher, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch.
  • Troubleshoot critical issues and provide support as needed to ensure high availability.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, enterprise-scale releases.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and operational workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on Kubernetes, cloud, and CI/CD.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Proficiency in Lens and Rancher for Kubernetes monitoring and management.
  • Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments).
  • Knowledge of monitoring/logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
  • Scripting ability in Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) are required.
  • Willingness and availability to work on-call for mission-critical operations.
  • Experience with compliance-driven environments (FedRAMP, CMMC, GovCloud) is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL/MariaDB HA, Keycloak, Kafka, Istio is desirable.
  • Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS/PaaS deployments is advantageous.
